I told my boss today that I'll be leaving. What a hard thing to do... Especially since I have heard rumors that he's been a bit nasty to other people who have resigned. So I was pretty relieved that he was understanding and took it well. It's really a shame to be leaving this job, I would have liked to stay for maybe another year to gain more experience. Especially as he talked about making me in charge of the editing team of about 4 or 5 other editors. That would have been such a great experience and would have looked really good on my CV. Oh well, I have already started looking for work in London, but there doesn't seem to be as much production related work as I thought it might be. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places?? I don't know... Hopefully it'll be easier once I'm there... Wish me luck!
